管理学博士，副教授，硕士生导师，《城市系统学》新领域的开创者。文化和旅游部、住建部、中国侨联等部委特聘专家，担任中国海洋战略论坛、“一带一路”投资基金和国投建银基金管理（北京）有限公司的首席城市系统规划专家。东中西部区域发展和改革研究院高级研究员，中国旅游研究院兼职研究员。主要研究领域是城市系统学、项目管理与城市战略与规划，长期服务于国家部委的政策制订与前期研究工作，承担过多项国家级重大课题研究。代表作有国家发改委《老工业基地城市推进新型城镇化的思路和对策研究》与《产城人融合战略研究》，工信部《信息化与工业化融合发展战略研究》，商务部《中央商务区国家标准研究与制订》，国家旅游局《“一带一路”旅游发展战略布局研究》等。近年来主持国家软科学研究计划1项，北京市社科基金项目1项，发表论文50余篇。出版多部专著，影响广泛，代表性作品城市研究三部曲系列——《城市的崛起-城市系统学与中国城市化》，《产城人融合-破解新型城镇化核心难题的系统思考》，《美好生活的需要——从城市综合体到城市融合体》等。其他著作有《不依赖增长的治理》（翻译），《创新导向下的技术并购战略模式研究》，《创意照亮的空间——文化创意产业案例辑》，《北京市文化创意产业聚集区案例辑》等。  

Important research achievements: he published more than 50 papers in such journals as,,,, and, etc., many of which were included in EI, CSSCI and other indexes, and published 8 books; presided over 2 national soft science research projects and 1 social science project of Beijing municipal commission of education; participated in 8 provincial and ministerial-level projects and presided over more than 20 government and enterprise commissioned consulting projects. In 2009 he was awarded as middle-aged and young core teacher in municipal colleges and universities.
